GoHighLevel Tag for Google Tag Manager Server-Side

The GoHighLevel Tag for Google Tag Manager Server-Side allows you to send data to the GoHighLevel API.

Use Cases

  • Create new contacts
  • Track events (coming soon)

How to Use

  1. Add the GoHighLevel tag to the server GTM from the GTM Template Gallery.
  2. Create a Private Integration Token with contacts.write or Edit Contacts scope and add it to the tag.

⚠️ Important: The token must be created at the Sub-Account level, not the Agency level.

  3. Find the Location ID (also known as the Sub-Account ID) and add it to the tag. Here's how to find it.
  4. Add the contact's email and/or phone number.
  5. (Optional) Add any other standard or custom Contact Fields.
  6. Set up a trigger for the tag.
