Summary

localhost is deprecated in favor of IP addresses: https://developer.spotify.com/blog/2025-10-14-reminder-oauth-migration-27-nov-2025

Changes

  • changed all localhost occurrences to 127.0.0.1
  • changed vite host to 127.0.0.1

Results

  • local redirects to 127.0.0.1 still work as expected
  • vite console output says 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost so the user is directed to the right place
