When I install Gimp via Snapcraft, it doesn't connect to Snap themes in general, only with gtk-common-themes, it would be good to add these plugs to see if that changes.

Thank you! I don't actually know if this is the right approach, I thought this was handled by the gnome extension. Perhaps @kenvandine might be able to shed some light?

In fact, I answered my own questions with snapcraft expand-extensions:

snapcraft expand-extensions
# ...
plugs:
  gtk-3-themes:
    interface: content
    target: $SNAP/data-dir/themes
    default-provider: gtk-common-themes
  icon-themes:
    interface: content
    target: $SNAP/data-dir/icons
    default-provider: gtk-common-themes
  # ...

So I think this can be closed? FTR they seem to connect just fine on my machine, and another test machine I have here?
