Browser Operating System Combinations Guide

This page is dedicated to be a reference for creating browser/OS combinations.
For a list of browser/OS combinations that SharpSauce and Sauce Labs support check this page.
Note: These combinations are case-sensitive. gc and Gc are two completely different browsers as far as SharpSauce is concerned. Make sure that if you reference a browser/OS combination, everything is in the case it should be.

Browser/OS Combination Formula

[Browser][Browser Version][Operating System]
Example: Google Chrome ver.31 on Windows 7 = gc31win7

Browsers

Google Chrome = gc
Fire Fox = ff
Internet Explorer = ie
Opera = opera
Safari = safari

Browser Versions

Browser versions are integers. Not decimal numbers. If you wish to use a browser like Fire Fox 3.6, then that browser version will be 36. No decimal in between the 3 and the 6.

Operating Systems

Windows 8.1 = win81
Windows 8 = win8
Windows 7 = win7
Windows XP = winXP
Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) = SnowLeopard
Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8) = MountainLion
Mavericks (OS X 10.9) = Mavericks
Linux = linux

Mobile Browsers

Mobile browsers are implemented a bit differently than regular browsers. There are only a small number of mobile browsers and platforms supported by Sauce Labs, and therefore supported by SharpSauce. They are listed below:

Android 4.0 = android4

iPhone 4.3 = iphone43
iPhone 5 = iphone5
iPhone 5.1 = iphone51
