Overview

This case study analyzes an operational inefficiency in Uber’s Bike Taxi and Package Delivery services.

The current system assigns only one task per trip:

  • Either passenger ride
  • Or package delivery

This leads to idle time, missed route optimization, and lower rider earnings.
