Installation

Operation system support:

• For Windows use x86 or x64 version
• For Mac OS and Linux use Fusion with Windows virtual machine

How to install:

• Download and extract MGen
• Download and install lilypond, associate with *.ly files
• Download and install Microsoft Office to work with *.xlsm files
• Download and install Frescobaldi, associate with *.ly files (for developers)
• Download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader to view *.pdf files
• Download and install LoopMidi to route playback to DAW (or alternative software)
• Download and install Reaper, Kontakt and virtual instruments (for playback to DAW)
• Download and install Sibelius or Finale, associate with *.mid files (for exporting and importing midi files) MuseScore and free Finale NotePad do not support exporting lyrics into MIDI files

Setup Microsoft Excel:

• Options - Trust center - allow macros, allow access to VBA model.
