Follow these steps to run this project:

  1. Set up the Development Environment: Ensure that your computer has the JDK (Java Development Kit) and Android SDK (Software Development Kit) installed. Also, make sure that Android Studio is installed and properly configured.

  2. Obtain a Copy of the Repository: Open the repository page on a platform like GitHub or GitLab. Find the "Clone" or "Download" button and copy the repository URL.

  3. Open Android Studio: Launch Android Studio on your computer. Select the "Check out project from Version Control" or "Get from Version Control" option on the Android Studio welcome screen.

  4. Clone the Repository: In the "Version Control" window, choose the Git option (or the version control system relevant to your repository). Paste URL https://github.com/anddfian/bisamerchant into the "URL" or "Git Repository URL" field. Specify the directory where you want to save the repository copy on your computer. Click on "Clone" or "Checkout" to clone the repository.

  5. Import the Project into Android Studio: After the download process is complete, Android Studio will automatically open the project. If not, you can manually open the project by navigating to the downloaded repository directory via "File" > "Open."

  6. Sync Dependencies: Android Studio will perform a project synchronization process and download the required dependencies. Wait until the synchronization process is complete. You can monitor the progress in the "Gradle" window at the bottom of Android Studio.

  7. Configure Emulator or Physical Device: If you want to run the application on an emulator, open the AVD Manager (Android Virtual Device Manager) by clicking the icon on the Android Studio toolbar. Create or select an emulator that suits your preferences. If you want to run the application on a physical device, ensure that the device is connected to the computer via USB and the developer mode is enabled.

  8. Run the Application: Select the appropriate launch configuration from the drop-down menu on the Android Studio toolbar. Click the "Run" or "Debug" button (green triangle icon) to run the application. Android Studio will build the application, install it on the emulator or physical device, and start running it.

  9. Test the Application: Once the application opens on the emulator or physical device, you can test it to ensure everything is functioning correctly. Perform various relevant actions within the application to check its features and functionality.
