My new project
This Spring Boot microservice is driven using Maven. To run locally simply execute the following from the command line:
> ./mvnw spring-boot:runThis microservice comes with some rudimentary tests as a good starting point for writing your own. Use the following command to execute the tests using Maven:
> ./mvnw testThe following Atomist editors are available for this project:
- Add support for building Docker images (incl. Maven configuration and addition of
Dockerfile) - Add support for Netflix Hystrix, an implementation of the circuit breaker pattern
- Update the listen port of the embedded HTTP server (in
application.propertiesandDockerfile)

You can now build, package and run this microservice using Docker.
Now you can build your docker image by entering from a terminal where you have access to Docker, execute the following command:
> ./mvnw clean package docker:buildEven push it to a repository of your choice:
> ./mvnw clean package docker:build -DpushImage
