As addition to @emagnier suggestion, could you put the IE8 failover on https://github.com/toopay/bootstrap-markdown/blob/master/js/bootstrap-markdown.js#L564 and https://github.com/toopay/bootstrap-markdown/blob/master/js/bootstrap-markdown.js#L585 instead? |

please don't comment code, but remove it if it's not used. You can still check the git history if you want to cehck for old code
