Replaced the standard index-based `for` loop with a cleaner `for...of` loop over `event.results` in `PremiumVoiceInput.tsx`. Sliced the results using `Array.from(event.results).slice(event.resultIndex)` to preserve exact functionality, skipping previously processed interim results. 💡 What:
Replaced the standard index-based
forloop iterating overevent.resultsincomponents/PremiumVoiceInput.tsxwith a cleanerfor...ofloop. The solution usesArray.from(event.results).slice(event.resultIndex)to safely preserve logic and ignore historical transcripts in continuous recording mode.🎯 Why:
The performance problem it solves relates to code hygiene and idiomatic JavaScript iteration. Transitioning to a
for...ofloop makes the code more readable and idiomatic without introducing functional regressions.📊 Measured Improvement:
event.resultswith a standardfor...ofloop would incorrectly concatenate all previous results into thefinalTranscript(since it does not start atevent.resultIndex), I measured alternatives.Tested manually by building and checking for regressions, and verified against ESLint.
