You can use slicenfill in two ways, the portable version and setup ,all available at releases.
-
The setup: installs slicenfill and sets up file associations, protocol schemes, and other measures to directly integrate slicenfill in your desktop.
-
The portable executable: Does not alter permenantly your machine, and runs directly.
Just download the executable or the .deb archive in the releases page. You can then install the .deb archive with apt
sudo apt install ./path/to/slicenfill # relative or absolute path(better start with . or /)
