We have users reporting this issue with out builder soflyy/breakdance-bugs#593, but are unable to fix it without this change.
I made sure the code was the same as an existing filter in: https://github.com/rankmath/seo-by-rank-math/blob/master/includes/frontend/class-frontend.php#L159
