Welcome!
This is a resource hub for the Unleashing Impact workshop, created by a fellow attendee. There is no official connection to Unleashing Impact—I'm just a participant who found the mission inspiring and wanted to make it easier for everyone to share and revisit what we learned together.
Unleashing Impact empowers purpose-driven leaders and organizations to create lasting, positive change in their communities and beyond.
Their mission centers on unlocking human potential, building local leadership, and connecting changemakers with the skills, tools, and support networks needed to tackle real-world challenges—from poverty and education to health and social justice.

All notes here are saved in Markdown (.md) format.
Markdown is just plain text with a little structure—easy to read, copy, or print, even before any “fancy” formatting is added.
You’re welcome to copy, import, or save these notes as different file types, or fork the repo (make your own copy for editing or expanding).
Note: This repo is text-only due to storage limits; please don’t submit photos or screenshots.
All text submissions are reviewed and accepted or rejected as-is; nothing will be edited for you.
GitHub is mostly used by software developers for version control, but its versioning tools are also great for writers who want to keep track of drafts.
Interested in learning about GitHub or coding? Email brian@quietforge.dev with the subject line:
print {"I want to learn to code"}
and you’ll get some free, goal-based learning resources—no strings attached.
- Quickest:
Click any file name here on GitHub to read it instantly in your browser. - On Your Computer:
Open.mdfiles in Notepad (Windows), TextEdit (Mac), or any free text editor.
Free programs like VS Code or Sublime Text work great, but aren’t required.
- Google Sheets:
Markdown is for notes, not spreadsheets—so it won’t open directly in Sheets. - Microsoft Word:
Yes, you can open Markdown files in Word as plain text. For nice formatting (headings, bold, etc.), just copy-paste into a new Word document. - Want a PDF or formatted copy?
Click the document you want, copy the content, and paste it into your favorite text editor or Word—then save as PDF if needed.
- Download a single file:
Click a file, then “Raw,” right-click and “Save As...” - Download everything:
Click the green “Code” button (top right), then “Download ZIP.” - Make your own online copy:
Click “Fork” (top right) to copy the repo to your GitHub account.
- Try any text editor (Notepad, TextEdit, etc.)
- Or just read files here on GitHub by clicking their names
- Need a different format, or have questions? Open an “Issue” here or email—happy to help!
Everyone is welcome to read, share, or use these notes!

All voices are welcome.
