For some users, and other types of diagrams used in the future, having time on the horizontal axis is more natural. (In the current version, the vertical direction makes sense as vertical scrolling is better than horizontal scrolling in general, and expanding transitions results in a natural text document.)
Therefore, it would be good to have the option to transpose (some) views.
