This script reads in the SHDI data and SHDI shapefile from PRIO hosted mirror. It also reads in geoboundaries data.
shdi function identifies empty geometries and replace them with geometries from geoboundaries. Then incorporates the data into PRIO-GRID.
Creates gen_ functions for the most commonly used shdi variables.
