No. We're at beta stage for 2.8.1 (https://forum.netgate.com/topic/198181/pfsense-ce-2-8-1-beta-now-available/9) and it's simply too late for non-critical changes. |

Not sure if this is sufficient or not, but the goal is to fix https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/16246
