This page is here to provide documentation on my fork of the graphite-project's carbon relay. The purpose of this relay is to force all of the metrics received via the network to be recorded as files on disk. Only after they are written to disk will metrics be sent out to destination servers (e.g. a carbon cache, a carbon aggregator, another carbon relay, or a processing system like riemann](riemann.io).
