I can run Netherlands.ipynb, USA.ipynb and SWEDEN_2.ipynb without problems.

And there is also GERMANY_old.ipynb, can that one be deleted?

GERMANY.ipynb gives an error for me in the code cell after markdown cell with "The resulting fit is not satisfactory yet, the parameters are therefore visualized to identify possible changes that may increase the fit.". The error I get is ValueError: Initial guess is outside of provided bounds. which is probably related to the initial=False statement in the second ml.solve() call.

Just as a heads up. Since the dataset is officially published; you can now load the data from the groundwater modelling challenge with ps.load_dataset("collenteur_2024"). Would be nice if the data is loaded this way as well in these notebooks.
