IRIS UI

After running the IRIS controller, you can access the UI by entering following URL.

http://localhost:8080/

Then you can see the following screen coming up on your browser. :-)

We recommend to use Chrome. Internet Explorer is not supported (we actually gave up).

As you can see, the IRIS UI consists of 4 sections: Home, Switches, Devices, and Topology. Basically all the information is the same, but it is rendered a little bit differently. Especially in the Topology Section, we updated the SVG rendering mechanism to provide more easy-to-view topology, which incorporates zooming and panning capability. The functionality is supported by ‘Touchpad’ rectangle located at the bottom-right corner of the topology screen.

Further, you can freely modify the location of each switch or device by dragging. Clicked entities are highlighted so that you can easily identify which are which. :-)
