• bin/ - shell scripts (and possibly binaries)
• etc/ - this is where configuration files are
• share/ - contains things for the environment
• tools/ - collections/source for den-focused tools
• nix/ - nixos and* home-manager configuration

• share/burrow/ - plugin manager for den
• nix flake - nix flake configuration

*i have found nix/nixos adds too much friction for development systems. i now use it for home-manager only. updates to reflect this are coming.
