Metric Displays

Metric displays are single numbers with a label that display on the monitoring dashboard.

Adding a Custom Metric Display

Select the Admin -> Configure Box Stats link. Then click on add new box stat.

Next fill out the Box Stat form. The first field in the first record in the query's result set will be displayed as the number, and the label will be the text next to it.

Examples

Pgantenna ships with 3 box stats: Time since last heartbeat, most recent system load, and the age of the oldest current transaction in seconds. These can be edited to get more insight into how to write a box stat query against the pgantenna tables.
