travis-ci has now changed their url to travis-ci.com. if you register your github account with their new site you can link this repo to get travis-ci testing working again.
I linked my fork and worked through the errors and fixed the unit, node, and .travis.yml configs so they all work again with the latest versions of test-kitchen and chef.
Once merged if you could also please release this to rubygems.org that would be awesome.
