Multi-thread and config support

• Added multi-threading support and other performance improvements to better churn through batches.
• Added a config file for the main variables to allow for better production settings.

What it says on the tin. Make your old image formats new and shiny. (Unless the old format is still better of course. Then leave it alone, man.)
