Hi! In my work, I wrote a few function to rearrange healpix datasets in various ways, e.g. into tiles defined by a coarser grid. I added them to healpix/init.py. Additionally, I attach a notebook with examples showing what I had in mind as their possible usage. Consider if it's beneficial to include them in the easygems package.
