What are Twitch Rewards?

Twitch Rewards are currently only available to streamers who have a partnership with Twitch (Amazon). Viewers can collect Twitch internal points (Channel Points) to use for promotions. The Channel Points enable further interactions with the viewers and make the livestream unique. StreamingDrops can grab Channel Rewards activation and execute commands in Minecraft.

Setup Twitch Rewards

1. Follow the first steps to add a new streamer and test StreamingDrops. You can find more information here
2. Create a new Twitch Rewards button. You can choose the name and the points you need for your viewers.
3. Go to the file "rewards.yml". This is located in the folder "/plugins/StreamingDrops/ChatBot". Go to the section with your Twitch name. Change "your_twitch_reward_title" to the name of your Twitch button. It is important that in the configuration file the name is used with lowercase letters only (in Twitch lowercase and uppercase letters can be used).
4. Add your Minecraft command to be executed when a player uses your Twitch button. You can specify multiple commands here. Note: The commands will be executed as "Console". Thus, the player does not need any permissions to execute this command.
