  • 🎯 Why: Sequential processing was bottlenecking ingestion performance.
  • 📊 Measured Improvement: Benchmarking with 155 files/dirs showed an improvement from ~95ms to ~69ms (~27% faster) on local disk. Improvement is expected to be more significant on larger datasets or slower I/O.
    • Baseline: ~95ms
    • Optimized: ~69ms
    • Speedup: ~27%
