New Night Lock feature
This release adds the new Night Lock feature, courtesy of SwShoes. Night Lock is designed to prevent accidental changes to the Night Mode volume level by locking the global volume level while Night Mode is engaged. You can enable Night Lock through the "Locks" tab in the main control panel window. You can also select from two options for how the volume lock works:
-
In "Hold" mode, PinVol locks out any global volume changes while Night Mode is in effect. The point is to prevent accidental volume increases during quiet hours.
-
In "Release" mode, changing the global volume automatically exits Night Mode. This mode interprets any volume changes made while in Night Mode as an indication that you no longer wish t keep Night Mode in effect, restoring the system to normal "day mode" operation.
Version 2.2
This version is updated to work with the latest Pinscape Controller firmware for KL25Z, and has a couple of other small bug fixes. (Older versions can't read status reports from the latest Pinscape KL25Z firmware because the USB message size changed in that update, and PinVol was incorrectly assuming the old message size. PinVol now uses the proper approach of sensing the actual message size the device is sending rather than assuming a hardcoded size, so it now works with the newer and older firmware versions, and shouldn't have the same problem if the message size changes again in the future.)
