Avoid infinite loops
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'limited_loop'And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install limited_loop
Use LimitedLoop.loop instead of Kernel.loop.
When the block is executed over 100 times, an exception LimitedLoop::LimitExceeded is raised.
LimitedLoop.loop do
# your code
endYou can change the number of executable times:
LimitedLoop.loop(50) do
# your code
endAfter checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
