Hi,
You will need to build the application and upload it to either a simulated or a real Android device to test it. This requires you have an Android development environment installed, but is otherwise not particularly complicated.

Hello, I can confirm this PR fixes the app.
I've created an unofficial repository based on Android Studio (and that includes this patch too):
https://github.com/fansanelli/osm-focus
I've published the repo just in case someone else wants to build it using Android Studio.
