Setup

This article describes how to setup your cthulhu environment.

We use a ini style based configuration for cthulhu. The configuration is not mandatory, but makes using cthulhu easier. At present you have to specify two settings in the ini file - the castalia_home and the scenario_home. The castalia_home denotes where your installation of castalia resides and scenario_home specifies where your simulation scenarios reside. The following is an example of the configuration file

castalia_home = /home/frey/Software/Castalia
scenario_home = /home/frey/Software/Castalia/Simulations/MyScenarios

The default file name is settings.ini
