(In 02-link.html, when referring to a generic terminal, the term “the terminal” is used without any boldfacing. I’m sticking to this in these commits.)

An attempt to get us to refer to the terminal consistently in the copy to avoid causing confusion by using different terms when targeting the same terminal instance/session.
