Description
The Goal of this ticket is to remove all Backward Compatible code snippets and to provide documentation about what changes have happened since Release 5.0.0

This process will need to be repeated once Release 5.8 has gone out and when all PRs slated for release 6.0 have been added to the Release 6.0 branch.
