Hi there πŸ‘‹ I'm Lucas!

I'm a data scientist at Liebherr and PhD student at the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (LIACS). Here are a few facts about me:

  • πŸ”“ Open source enthusiast
  • πŸ” Working on anomaly detection in time series data and writing my PhD thesis on it.
  • 🌱 Currently learning about self-hosting as means to enjoy a privacy-first digital life that is independant of big tech.
  • πŸ“« How to reach me: Email | LinkedIn

Here are some cool open source projects you might not know:

  • Immich: High performance self-hosted photo and video management solution.
  • Home Assistant: Open source home automation that puts local control and privacy first.
  • Paperless-ngx: A community-supported supercharged document management system.
  • Mealie: A self-hosted recipe manager and meal planner.
  • Stirling PDF: A self-hosted web application that allows you to perform various operations on PDF files.
  • Vaultwarden: Unofficial Bitwarden compatible server written in Rust, formerly known as bitwarden_rs.
  • Radicale: A simple CalDAV (calendar) and CardDAV (contact) server.
  • Donetick: An open-source, user-friendly app for managing tasks and chores, featuring customizable options to help you and others stay organized.
