I've updated the code with a number of key changes:

  • Updated dependencies to latest version
  • Updated from Java 1.8 to 11
  • Added Postmark Transactional Email Templates to use for unit testing
  • Added a bunch of unit tests
  • Refactored HtmlCommentsRemovalProcessor to avoid stack overflow issues when parsing large, nested DOMs
  • Added config support for setting JSoup output settings
  • Added config for targeting legacy clients (which adds in the bgcolor attribute to target older email clients)
  • Added support for named colors when parsing colors for bgcolor
  • Augmented CSS prefix is now configurable
