Sorry if I'm asking stupid... but what is the next step? Is it for the original author to compile a new build?

I suppose so. I don’t see how there’s any way for me to compile it for use as an online ScratchX extension, but I haven’t looked into it. I believe that Scratchx can import add-on from file, but I still don't know what the next step for this project would be (how to turn our requests into a file).
