Setting up Containers with VS Code

Exercises

1. Create a Docker account
2. Download Docker Desktop and login
3. Add the Remote - Containers extension to VS Code
4. Fork and clone this repo
5. cd into fp_study_notes_hello_docker
6. Start a container with VS Code Remote - Containers
7. Install the app's required node modules with npm install
8. Run the app with npm run hello
9. Run the tests with npm test
10. Make a change to the code
11. Stage, commit and push your changes to GitHub
12. Close your devcontainer

Bonus

• Make a change to the devcontainer.json file eg. add a workspace setting or an extension!
• Rebuild the container to check your changes
