I am Jason Wang, a Software Engineer based in New York City. I currently make magic for The Walt Disney Company on their streaming servies. I approach every problem with a very analytical perspective, and I focus on analyzing large sets of data and creating insights on user behavior. I am experienced in:

I have been teaching since freshman year of high school. My first student was a 4th grader with a learning disability, and ever since I was able to help him overcome it, I fell in love with teaching and helping others. In my career, while I pursued my studies, I have been everything from a TA, a private tutor, an SAT Instructor, to a classmate who was always willing to help. While I was a senior in university, I took an introductory Data Science class and fell in love with the field. I became an SAT instructor after graduation, but during the pandemic, inspired by that class I took in university, I decided to shift into the Data Science industry. I was accepted to the Center of Data Science at NYU, where I gradudated with a Masters in Data Science and a love for analyzing big data, coding, and a willingness to both learn and teach.
While I am not working on any projects or studying, I solve jigsaw puzzles 🧩, hike 🥾 , play strategy games ♟️, watch movies 🎬, and cook 👨🍳. I truly believe that there is nothing more rewarding in life than constantly learning and improving yourself every single day.
