This is a small release that adds an update notification to Slipstream.
On launch, Slipstream now checks GitHub for the latest release in the background. If a new version is available, it will display this information with a link to the download page. This pop-up will only appear once per new version.
This does not automatically update the application; it only informs of updates, keeping the process simple and transparent. This is a compromise based on the suggestion in this issue.
