Howdy! 🤠 (don't be mistaken, I'm from LA 🌴)

  • 🎓 I am a PhD candidate in the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB) program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
  • 🔬 I study the role of 3D chromatin structure in response to environmental stress in the Phanstiel Lab.
  • 🐯 I am a proud alum of Occidental College, a small liberal arts school in Los Angeles, CA. There, I played NCAA DIII baseball ⚾️ and majored in Cellular & Molecular Biology 🧬. I also did research on the venom of fish-hunting cone snails! 🐚
