2 Creating your own NewAtlantis SPACE
This chapter explain how to create a SPACE and how to fill it with existing public objects as well as personal ones It also explains how to use tools and other feature to navigate and play
Download the last viewer on this address http://tanant.info/newatlantis/ , and select the viewer corresponding to your OS ( Mac or PC )
Launch the app
On the start login interface , select Register Then enter your information required , your mail and password and click on register . Congrats ! Now your New Atlantis account is available ;) (you will receive a mail answer)
Go in "MyNA" menu window Click on "Create a New Space"
Give a Name to your space For example , I call it "MySpace"
On "Lobby" Menu tab , click on Start Server with Selected Space
Now you can see the space is empty.
We gonna add an object from the tab "MyNA" Select "Shared With Me" Select "capsule_bleue" in the assets. If "capsule_bleue" is not available select any asset you want. Click on "Add to Space"
Now , the app is uploading the asset from the web , and when its over you can see something like this
HMMM... This is quite dark , so we gonna turn the light on 😃 Open the tool menu , by clicking on screenshot in the bottom of your screen. When its done , you gonna see something like this
Select the sun by clicking on the sun icon. When it's done press Return / Enter to activate the sun.
Yeah ! Now the light is turned on so we can see clearly colors , sky , etc... Now we want to move the capsule in our world . To solve it , open the tab "Space" so you can see your object on it.
Once it's done , you can see the Transform Rotate Scaling Gizmo appearing , which we gonna use to move our capsule.
Grab the blue arrow to move the capsule on the Z axis. Once it's done , go to "Space" Tab to save your object position.
Congrats ! Now you finish you first New Atlantis Universe . In next lessons , I gonna show you how to build your own assets from Unity
