I had issues with the buttons on the flatbox being wobbly, so I pulled the STL's into blender and made some small changes

  • Stems shortened by 0.5 mm
  • Walls extended by 3 mm

These changes ensure that the buttons sit flush with the surface of the switches and the walls sit close enough to the pcb where you can't see the pcb's when they aren't pressed and the buttons don't wobble a lot when they are.

Printed these and popped them into my flatbox, made a world of difference. Print slowly to make sure there is no blobbing at the base of the stems.

EDIT: I should add that I've tested this on the Flatbox Rev4. Although since the switches don't vary between implementations, that shouldn't really matter.!

I printed these today to test out, they fit much more snug and they sound great!
Tested on the Flatbox Rev4 + Silent Twilight Ambient Choc V1s
