This Repo has been set up to host an example Google Sheets interface for MicroMDM, and to give a quick how-to for installing and setting up MicroMDM as presented at GusDay 2019.
At a basic level, MicroMDM can be used to replace NetBoot scenarios that installed configuration packages onto a fresh copy of macOS in order to configure the computer for your environment. This is especially needed, as Apple is phasing out support for NetBoot on newer hardware.
MicroMDM can also be used to run any MDM commands supported by Apple's MDM Protocol.
And it's API can be used to integrate the capabilities of MDM with many other solutions!
If you run through these steps, and you come across any errors or have problems, please file an Issue in this repo and I will make any necessary changes.

The capabilities of MDM are based on Apple's MDM Protocol. As you are working with devices using MDM, it will be most helpful to have a good understanding of the protocol. Here is the link: MDM Protocol Reference
