- Fix critical bug: change port from const to let to allow CLI override
- Replace var with const for immutable variables across client code
- Extract magic strings and numbers into configuration constants
- Add comprehensive error handling for file system operations
- Add input validation for socket events
- Add socket error and disconnect handlers
- Remove redundant socket broadcast emissions
- Merge duplicate CSS rules for html and h1 selectors
