Major backend and supporting tooling changes:

Golang update to 1.24.2
Update critical modules (go-duckdb and others) to the latest major version
Add tests for core functionality
Add golangci-lint scaffolding and rules
Address linting violations
Improve docker build and port customization
Use distroless container
Add additional capabilities to Makefile
Improve goroutine concurrency handling


          Add tests and fix linting issues
