Sentinel is the dedicated text-filtering module for Comrade.

It is capable of handling:

  • All regular alphanumerics
  • Special characters used to circumvent word filters (such as é etc.)
  • Attachments and images
  • Emoji letters used to circumvent filters

It also allows toggling between an exact match mode (relaxed) and fuzzy logic based system where it determines a similarity index against a pool of banned words (strict).
