Unclear what the best way is to handle this (e.g. using a different abstraction, having a generic
Metadatafunction, usingCid(), etc.). However, the problem this solves is being able to pass around the file and directory abstractions while still knowing the root CID of each component (e.g. for listing the CID links of all items in a directory).
