PickShot v0.1.4

Highlights

  • Browse iPhone and iPad shoots without conversions: PickShot now decodes HEIC/HEIF photos on the fly, so thumbnails and the preview panel just work.
  • Jump straight from the preview to Finder/Explorer using the new reveal button next to the filename—no context menu digging required.

Fixes

  • Rating while a star filter is active now advances to the next matching photo every time, keeping bulk triage moving instead of leaving the selection behind.

Maintenance

  • Polished the toolbar by removing the always-on "Scanning" badge and tightening up the sort vs. rating controls for a cleaner layout.
  • Gave the star filter menu roomier tap targets so it’s easier to toggle ratings.

PickShot v0.1.3

Highlights

  • Power through batches: Shift-click or Cmd/Ctrl-click to build a multi-photo selection. The preview now stacks your picks, shows how many shots you grabbed, and the rating widget applies stars (or none) to every image in one move.
  • Stay in flow with bulk actions: tap number keys or the [ ] shortcuts to bump ratings for the whole selection, then hit Delete/Backspace to toss the group with a confirmation that tells you exactly how many files are headed to the trash.

Fixes

  • The keyboard shortcuts overlay and docs now call out that Esc clears the current selection, matching the new multi-select behaviour and keeping surprises to a minimum.

Maintenance

  • Tweaked the PickShot title gradient so it stays legible against energetic backdrops.

PickShot v0.1.2

Highlights

  • Zero in on your best shots faster: hover over the new rating filter button to instantly show only 5★ keepers, unrated maybes, or any combo that fits your culling flow.

  • Stay in the zone while you rate—when filters are active, PickShot now jumps to the next photo that still matches, so you can keep tapping stars without losing rhythm.

Fixes

  • Tall portraits no longer shove the preview panel out of frame; the rest of the UI stays put while you zoom through a shoot.
  • Filtered grids keep their selection in view after ratings change, preventing the highlight from vanishing mid-review.

Maintenance

  • Updated English and Japanese copy for the new rating filter so the experience feels polished no matter your system language.

PickShot v0.1.1

Highlights

  • Load folders faster by dragging them straight onto the photo grid.
  • Manage the active folder from the header chip—open it in your file manager or close it without leaving the app.
  • Match the UI language to your OS automatically.

Fixes

  • Keep arrow-key navigation from looping past the first or last photo.
  • Improve PhotoPreview sizing so neighboring UI stays put.
  • Ensure the initially focused photo respects the current sort order.

Maintenance

  • Pin Volta to Node.js 22 LTS, add a Linux packaging script, and tidy up package.json.
  • Polish the UI’s clear-directory button sizing and refresh the README screenshot.
