I wanted to share information about an upcoming Stop the Bleed training session scheduled for Tuesday, April 1st.
Public Safety has previously hosted two well-received training sessions in Spring and Fall 2024, with participation from both students and staff. This hands-on training teaches individuals how to properly pack a wound to stop life-threatening bleeding—and it only takes about 10 minutes to complete.
Training Details:
What: Stop the Bleed Training
When: Tuesday, April 1, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Where: Union Atrium, 2nd floor (outside Starbucks)
Why: This training could save a life.
Additionally, Stop the Bleed Kits are available inside our AED cabinets across campus.
Please feel free to share this information within your departments. I’ve attached a flyer for distribution or posting, and I’ll include a few pictures below.
