**LINUX MINT START-OVER


OS USB plugged into computer console. The console was turned on and the ESC key was pressed on a USB keyboard to bring the computer to a boot menu. Key F9 was pressed and the USB FILE that carries the Linux Mint OS was highlighted using the keyboard arrow keys. The next screen was the black startup menu for Linux Mint 20.4. The first option "LINUX MINT MATE 64" was highlighted and the key E was pressed. A command-line then displayed on the computer monitor, and the 》》》》》

USB made its own partition for installation when checking the hard drive

Code displayed assuming that the Linux installation was complete. The ESC key was pressed to return back to the boot system and continue to Linux menu. The menu was unresponsive and ESC was pressed to bring display back to boot to try again.

Linux menu was successful and "ACPI=OFF" was added to the end of qs command line

Dev/NM** was selected as the harddrive to upload Linux os on. The dev/NM was wiped of previous installed os system and the installation process proceeded as standard. FATAL ERROR occurred "Executing 'grub-install/dev/nvme0n1' failed."

Restart--->ESC boot did not work Computer console was turned off and back on. Once brought back to Linux desktop nothing was uploaded onto the nvmn1p2 drive. The system was then restarted. Back to Linux screen the zoom of the screen was significantly higher.

Installation app was selected, rather than choosing to erase and reinstall, something else was selected to try to portion the device earlier than previous attempted. Picture for the partition changes FATAL ERROR occurred --->restarted
