The enumerate function appears to be making an HTTP GET request to the Certificate Transparency database (https://crt.sh/) for a given target domain and returning a list of subdomains as a result.
The function takes in two arguments:
http_client: a reference to an HTTP client, of type &Client. target: a reference to a string slice containing the target domain. The function returns a Result object, which is a type that represents either a success value (Ok variant) or an error value (Err variant). The success value is a vector of Subdomain objects, and the error value is of type Error.
The function first constructs a GET request URL using the format! macro, which is used to build a string with placeholders that are filled in with the values of the target domain. The resulting URL is used to send an HTTP GET request using the send method on the http_client object. The ? operator after the send method is used to propagate any error value that may be returned by the method up the call stack.
The function then attempts to parse the response body as a JSON object, using the json method. If this operation is successful, the JSON object is stored in a variable called entries of type Vec.
The entries vector is then transformed into a set of subdomains using a series of operations:
The entries are converted into an iterator using into_iter. For each entry, the name_value field is split into separate subdomains using the split method, and the resulting iterator is converted into a Vec using collect. The resulting vector of subdomains is flattened into a single iterator using flatten. The subdomains are filtered to exclude the target domain and any subdomains that contain a wildcard character ("*"). The filtered subdomains are collected into a HashSet object. The HashSet object is then converted into a Vec object, where each subdomain is represented as a Subdomain struct containing the subdomain name and an empty vector of open ports. Finally, the vector is filtered to only include subdomains that resolve to a valid IP address using the resolves function.
The resulting vector of Subdomain objects is then returned as the success value of the Result object.
